Lara was birthed out of love by siblings, Jasmine, and Herman. Their passion for dresses was instilled into them from birth. During vacations and after school Jasmine and Herman would drive into the garment district of NYC, and visit their parent’s wholesale store near Times Square, so that they were not home alone. As adolescents they soaked up so much knowledge about fashion and evening wear that after both graduating college with business degrees, they realized that they couldn’t do anything else. In 2015, Jasmine and Herman launched Lara Brand with a vision to create fashion forward gowns that fit women of all shapes and sizes. Jasmine leads a team of three women who are dedicated to producing high quality hand-beaded bridal gowns, prom dresses, evening dresses, mother of the bride/groom gowns, cocktail and social occasion gowns that are memorable, glamorous, and of course SPARKLY! Each dress is intended to make you stand out from the crowd on some of the most enchanted evenings of your life.
